Cirebon Power Received Sustainable Development Award 2018

Tribunnews.com (7/9/2018) | Cirebon Power Power Consortium won 3 awards from the 2018 Indonesian Sustainable Development Award (ISDA) held by the Corporate Forum for Community Development for the achievement of Community Development programs, which are considered to have had a positive impact on society.

As for the award, first, the program of Guidance and Development of the Joint Business Group of Traditional Housewives Making Organic Terasi from SDGs 1 category (Without Poverty) received the Platinum award.

Two other awards were the Mangrove Planting Conservation Program in the Cirebon Coastal Region from the SDGs 15 category (Mainland Ecosystems) and the Electricity HR Development Center (Vocanional Training Center) from the SDGs 8 category (Decent Work and Economic Growth), each of which received Gold.

Cirebon Power President Director Heru Dewanto expressed his gratitude to all parties who collaborated in supporting the Cirebon Power community development program.

According to Heru, community empowerment is not just a social responsibility, but an effort to grow and develop together with the community around the plant.

“We are working with citizens, government agencies, and stakeholders. We want to share the spirit and establish partnerships to mutually support the ideals that are expected in a sustainable manner. One of them is an initiative to improve the economic capacity of the surrounding community and continuously strive to create a better environmental quality, “said Heru Dewanto on the sidelines of the ISDA 2018 event at JS Luwansa, last Thursday.
