RMOLJabar.com (21/8/2019) | As a form of concern for the world of education, Cirebon Power once again gave awards to 1000 elementary school students. The students are students from 20 elementary schools in three sub-districts in Cirebon Regency.
“The award is given to students in grades 1 through 5 of elementary school with outstanding achievements in ranks 1 through 10,” said Director of Corporate Affairs of Cirebon Power, Teguh Haryono after giving awards to students at SDN 1 Astanajapura Cirebon, Wednesday (8/21).
Teguh said, the 20 SDNs were elementary schools originating from three subdistricts around the Cirebon Power working area namely Mundu District, Pangenan District, and Astanajapura District in Cirebon Regency.
The goal, Teguh continued, is to continue to encourage students to be enthusiastic in learning and improve achievement.
Teguh also explained that the number of students who received the award this year was more than the previous year. He also hoped that the following year the number of students could increase.
As for students at junior high, high school and university levels, Teguh said, his party would still see developments for one or two people, because for a larger number, it has not been possible yet.
While the Principal of SDN 1 Astanajapura, Jaja Sutarja said that his party also expressed his gratitude to Cirebon Power for giving appreciation to students who excel. He also hopes that the agenda can continue by Cirebon Power to support students in improving their achievements.
